Exciting news from Infusionsoft with the latest update allowing users to set the time zone to local time in the campaign builder! WOO HOO!!!
This is HUGE news for users around the world, particularly in Australia, where converting to a different day in the states to get an email to go out exactly when you wanted it to, was not only confusing but increased the chances of error of it going out another time.
Watch the video for specific instructions on how to set up your application time zone and how this will impact existing timers within the Campaign.
Here are the key steps:
1. Update your Time Zone Setting
a. Go to Master Navigation / Admin / Settings & Time Zone
b. Select your Application Time Zone and click “Save”
2. Review & update any existing campaigns
a. Update timers and republish
Yes, it may take a little bit of time to review and ensure that all of your campaigns are executing correctly. If you have a large number of campaigns, it might be worthwhile exporting the campaign list and tracking in a spreadsheet where you are at with reviewing and updating, so that this can be done over a few weeks when you have some free time.
The great news is, that once it’s done, it’s done and all new campaigns you can just set up in your local time zone.
