Keap has announced the software known as “Infusionsoft” will be renamed to “Keap Max Classic” in early 2021.
So… firstly, let’s address the elephant in the room….
As an Infusionsoft user, should you be worried?
Well, as a fellow Infusionsoft user first and foremost, no, please don’t be worried. The name change actually is a good thing as it’s being brought into the rebranded Keap family, plus there is an ongoing commitment to product improvement as well.
The Background… In case you missed it….
Infusionsoft has been around since 2001. Infusionsoft was both the company name as well as their flagship software.
In February 2020, the company rebranded from “Infusionsoft” to “Keap”. They introduced some new products (“Keap Grow” and “Keap Pro”), whilst “Infusionsoft” as the software product was rebranded to “Infusionsoft by Keap” at the time.
Then, in early 2021, the company “Keap” unified their product suite, in particular with the following changes:
- Renaming “Infusionsoft By Keap” to “Keap Max Classic”
- Renaming “Keap Grow” to “Keap Lite”
Introducing a new product “Keap Max”
“Infusionsoft” as we’ve known it will no longer exist from a naming point of view, but the powerful marketing automation platform will continue under the new name of “Keap Max Classic”. Keap has shared their 100% commitment to continue investing in this premium product, and we’ve already seen a lot of that since mid 2020 with regular updates happening with this software.
