I contemplated this question of being an Infusionsoft Certified Partner in the week during and after I sat my exam to become certified. I had been using Infusionsoft for almost 3 years. After I attended Infusionsoft University I knew I needed to make a decision. After some soul searching and seriously contemplating what I love, it came down to three elements – what I love doing, what drives me and who I want to be working with. Loving what you do is one of my highest values. I love business process design and implementation work, optimizing systems and I am one of those geeks who loves Infusionsoft J I love problem solving and working with different businesses provides the ongoing opportunity to solve the specific challenges of that business. Finally I love working with business owners, these people have huge dreams and the ability to make a massive difference in the world. It’s not just about who you work with, but who you partner with too. The more I discovered about Infusionsoft, the more the fit seemed to match.
So with that realisation, the path to becoming an Infusionsoft Certified Partner commenced.
What is an Infusionsoft Certified Partner?
An Infusionsoft Certified Partner is extensively trained by the company and recognised by Infusionsoft. We must keep up to date with ongoing development and knowledge of upcoming improvements to the application. If you are a current user, you may understand that the application is continually evolving. This may be frustrating, but they really do make changes for the better. I must keep up to date with these changes and being a Certified Partner we know before other users of changed and how they may impact your use of the application. I need to re-sit an exam every year to keep my certification and finally provide great customer service.
What does it mean to me?
In making the decision to become an Infusionsoft Certified Partner was the alignment with the company’s values who I partner with. I have worked for and with many different sized corporations and have known that my experience has been a lot more challenging when I haven’t aligned with the vision and values. I didn’t expect to be so impressed by what Infusionsoft stands for. I haven’t been to their head office yet however my main interaction has been when team members have visited Australia. This is where I have been very impressed that they are living and breathing what Infusionsoft is about. Particularly when you are at a social dinner and their staff openly and eagerly engage in a conversation about what their company values are. After 10 years working on different HR and business projects, this is certainly not normal from my experience. This is where I knew there was something special happening here. This company has a big vision, a huge commitment and acknowledges their responsibility to help small businesses succeed. Having been a struggling business owner in the past and making many sacrificing you need to make to run a business, I completely agree with where they are going. They are also looking at ways of improving and I think that’s something all small businesses must do to survive and also thrive in an ever-changing environment.
